You can check your payment status and record and also maintain your payment preferences.

You can also purchase a training program or enter your exam re-sit online at any time. The payment options available are either online using credit card or post payment using Bank Transfer. Please refer to the Payment Option section available in this guideline.

If you choose “Bank Transfer” method, you will be provided with a guideline on how to remit the payment within the published deadlines.

If you choose to use a credit or debit card – we accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro (Switch) solo and American Express. Your credit card details are not stored in the system. Therefore, you are required to enter your card details afresh each time you make a payment.

Please note that SHAPE® does not store the credit card information nor do we have access to information that are securely stored and encrypted. Please make sure that you complete the payment process, or that you have a Direct Debit set up if you wish to make a payment. We do not have standing orders on credit or debit cards.

To make a purchase:

  1. Purchasing a Training Program:
    • Click on Buy CIFA in your CIFAOnline
    • Choose a training program you wish to opt for.
  2. Exam Re-sit entry and extend a training program :
    • Click on Active Training or on “My Training” in your CIFAOnline.
    • Click the Re-sit Exam or the Extend button for the training program you wish either re-sit the exam or extend the subscription.

Payment Process:

  • Your personal details will be automatically captured. Review to ensure they are correct. Make changes where necessary.
  • At the communication preference column, you need to agree to the CIFAOnline Policy to proceed to the payment page.
  • Progress with the desired payment option.
  • Bank Transfer: You will progress to the order confirmation page which will detail the outstanding amount and guideline to bank transfer the payment within the published deadline of four weeks. Please print the confirmation for your records.
  • Credit Card:
    • Enter your card details, or select a card that you have already set up in our system and click Continue.
    • If you are happy with the confirmation of your card details and payment amount, click Submit and then wait for payment confirmation.
    • You will then be redirected to a “Verify by Visa” where you must review the payment details again. Click here to Buy button. You will be asked to enter and submit your secret password created previously on the Verify by Visa Website.
    • You will receive a “Card successful “message on your screen for completed payment process.
    • Click on Next button and you will progress to the order confirmation page. An email containing a temporary password and guide on how to start your training will also be sent to you. Please print the confirmation for your records, and keep a copy of the email.
  • To return to the website, click on “Home”, or close all of your open browser windows to end your session and secure your details.


How long should I expect to wait for my credit card payment to be processed?

You may have to wait several seconds while your payment is validated.

When I go to make a payment I am being asked to register my card with “Verify by Visa”? What is this and why am I being asked to register?

SHAPE® regards your security when paying online with the highest importance. Therefore, candidates making payment online will be required to submit an additional password obtained from Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode. The Link below will take you to The Verified by Visa website.

Can I pay with a Solo card or Diners Club card?

We do not accept payment by Diners Club. We do accept payment via the following methods: Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo or American Express.

What is my billing address?

This needs to be the address of the credit card holder.

Will you accept cash payments?

No, we do not.

I have made a purchase online and would like a receipt for it. Is this possible?

As long as you have an email address set up, you will automatically receive confirmation of any online payment. This is generated in the form of a financial statement.

I employ a number of CIFA™ candidates. Can I pay for all their purchases together?

It is not possible to complete a group transaction online. Please contact us for bulk payment arrangements.

Can I pay my purchase or examination by installment (e.g. monthly, quarterly)?

We do not offer this service.

Is it possible for my friend/colleague/relative to purchase/pay on my behalf?

When paying online, please ensure that you enter the credit card holder’s address so payment can be processed.

How do I request a refund from my account?

Refunds are available only for selected cases. Please refer to the CIFAOnline Policy for more information. If you are eligible, send a request via email. Please use the contact us button on the top of your CIFAOnline page after you login. Please state which method you use to pay us. SHAPE® policy is to refund in the same manner in which the payment was received.

I have just made a purchase/payment using a credit card. Why is it not showing on my statement?

Purchases and payments can take up to 24 hours to be reflected in your statement. In the meantime, you will receive an email confirming the online payment you made.

Can I save my credit card details for future payments?

No you can’t.
